Apocalypstick au Confort Moderne

In this installation review for Zero Deux, David Evrard fully engages in the conversation and context of both [WIP] Apocalypstick and Mothernism.

Beyond merely recounting the pieces and their layout within le Confort Moderne, David describes the pandemic lockdown context in which the body of work was created. The review cites various pieces, texts, and conversations to internalize and reflect on the thematic motifs of performative participation as active attempts at belonging.

The review also takes time to note the cultural impact of the gallery space itself within these same thematic contexts.
