Resume, Lise Haller Baggesen

 

Lise Haller Baggesen (1969) is a Danish born, Amsterdam trained, Chicago based interdisciplinary artist. Her hybrid practice includes writing, installation, performative, sartorial, and textile-based work. She is an alumni of the Rijksakademie van Beelden Kunsten in Amsterdam, and holds an MA in Visual and Critical studies from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. She is a recipient of the Dutch Royal Prize for Painting and  a nomminee for the Joan Michell Foundation’s Emerging Artist Grant.

She is the author of Mothernism, and exhibits internationally, most recently with the multi-media performance A Space Where Your Voices Can Live –presented at Malmö Konstmuseum (SE) and Roskilde Festival (DK) – and the solo show APOCALYPSTICK at Le Confort Moderne (F)

2023     A Space Where Your Voices Can Live Malmö Konstmuseum(SE)/ Roskilde Festival (DK) Multimedia installation and            performance with music by Naima Karlsson and Adriana Camacho, Choreography by Sanna Blennow, and movement by            Julienne Doko, Alvilda Faber Striim, Viktoriia Khoroshylova, Chollada Phinitduang and Yrsa Heijkenskjöld.
